He Sees The Sparrow Fall

This beautiful painting was done at a very painful time in my life; a time I would just like to forget. It was so hurtful that I honestly thought I would never pick up a paintbrush again. But that wasn’t God’s plan at all, He showed me exactly what I had to paint. So He brushed off my wounds and watched me soar to the sky (Taken from the song by the Collingworths Family; I can trust Jesus). My hurt and pain were brushed away with each brushstroke, God knew I had fallen to the ground but He picked me up. And because He did, I painted this magnificent painting , ‘He Sees The Sparrow Fall.’ I believe this painting will bring much healing to us all. It will be given to my niece, Tonya, who today is in the hospital on life support. But God see’s her and will pick her up and brush off her wounds and she will soar again! The whole painting is based on this verse in Matthew 10:29-31 ‘Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? And one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.’ The painting is a 12x12 acrylic, on level 3 professional stretched canvas. P-33 #95. Tonya never got the opportunity to get her painting; she passed away before I had a chance to get it to her. But today I sent it to Elaine & Steve (Tonya’s Mom &Dad), I hope it will bring them some comfort and know that their Heavenly Father sees the sparrow fall!
