Nan’s Patchwork, Crazy Quilt

This 24x36x1.5 acrylic on Professional level 3 gallery wrapped canvas is called, “Nan’s Patchwork, Crazy Quilt”. Here it is showcased by just freely blowing in the wind. A favourite pastime for those cold winter nights, with the fire crackling in the background, was quilting; often using scrap pieces from old clothing. Extra pride was taken in the herringbone stitch, perfectly surrounding each patch. This pattern known as a ‘crazy quilt’ was quite popular in the old days. This painting sells for $300 and would certainly add a punch of colour to any wall. It also portrays my signature “picket fence”! This is the third in the Nan’s Series!
