The Quilts

This 18”x24”x1.5”acrylic on stretched canvas is called, “The Quilts”. It’s the first in my “The Yellow House Series”. This was and still is today a NL tradition whereby after a long cold winter the quilts would be all washed and pinned on the clothesline to be freshened up with the crisp, cool air of the winds off the Atlantic Ocean.
